After earning my psychology degree in 2006, I completed my MSc in Clinical Psychology, focusing on philosophy and schizoanalysis, in Brazil in 2009. I subsequently retrained and requalified in the UK at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust in 2019. I hold an MA in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy accredited by Essex University, as well as a qualification in Intercultural Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Additionally, I was requalified as a counsellor specializing in children and young people in 2019 at Place2Be. After two years of working as a private clinical supervisor for individuals and groups, I earned a certificate in this field from the Guild of Psychotherapists in 2024.

In addition to my private practice, I currently work as a counsellor at the Student Welfare and Support Service at the University of Oxford. I am a visiting lecturer in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths, University of London. Furthermore, I lead the In-Space, a supportive collective thinking environment for students at the Dutch Institute of Art (DAI) within ArtEZ University of the Arts.
I am an online intercultural psychodynamic psychotherapist with over fifteen years of experience in the mental health sector. My focus is on addressing emotional difficulties and neurodiversity. Anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, lack of confidence, autism, ADHD, dyslexia, perfectionism, and self-sabotage are some of the issues I work with.
In my practice, I take into account the internal mechanisms of my patients, both conscious and unconscious. I also consider how various aspects of their background, such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, class, culture, nationality, disability, religion, and ag, can impact their well-being and mental health.
